To: Interested Instructors and Owners of Reasonable Ranges
From: Total Force Training Group Cadre
Total Force Training Group is gearing up for public courses and recognizes a standing need for a “Home
Range” site from which Total Force Training Group Cadre will conduct training courses in the Integrated
Combatives System developed by the Total Force Training Group Cadre. This training includes, but is not
limited to, Tradecraft, Empty Hand Combatives, Stick, Knife, and various Firearms Training. These
courses are physically intensive, and are intended to provide realistic training that will enable the student to
survive in a fight for their lives.
Recognizing the large number of talented instructors whose knowledge and/or experience may enhance
further ICS Development and the growing demand for relevant self-defense training for civilians, as well as
the need and demand for enhanced tactics and combatives training for Law Enforcement, Security, and
Military personnel, the Cadre seek resumes from qualified applicants to represent the Group across the
nation.
This is *NOT* a Group Staff position.
Requirements:
-Lawful to Possess Firearms
-Professional Appearance.
-Instructors accepted will be required to maintain a reasonable degree of physical fitness
-Instructor’s Certification in Firearms (Certification in Empty Hand Combatives of some form strongly
preferred but lack of is not disqualifying)
-Instructors will be expected to continue training with outside vendors and to provide to Headquarters a
detailed After Action Report of classes taken after acceptance.
-Instructors will be offered Mobile Training Team opportunities based on location and knowledge
relevance (e.g. A MTT covering empty-hand tactics will be first offered to those with more empty-hand
experience)
-Instructors on MTT’s will be paid in an even split after travel expenses.
-Instructors will be authorized to teach TFTG Developed ICS courses they have taken OR have experience
deemed relevant to that course matter by the Cadre.
-Instructors are authorized to teach their own content and TFTG courses at will, provided TFTG HQ is
notified in advance to assist with marketing you (and us) on the TFTG Facebook Page and Website (when a
website is obtained.)
-Instructor Certification is given upon acceptance
-Renewal is required every year.
-Renewal cost is either training with TFTG Cadre in person or bringing them up to you by hosting a course.
+We need to see you about once a year. After 18 months, if we haven’t seen you, you will lose TFTG
Affiliation.
-Those accepted may at times be asked to prepare Case Studies or Subject Matter on incidents relevant to
their experience
-Those seeking higher responsibilities within TFTG as Cadre are eligible for upgrade from Adjunct to Staff
Instructor after 2 satisfactory years as an Adjunct Instructor.
Range Needs:
-Minimum 25 yards for pistol classes, 200 yards for long gun courses
-NO STEEL TARGETS NEEDED and in some cases not required. Steel must be moveable for close quarters shooting on cardboard and paper.
-Target Stands
-Reasonable lateral movement areas (3-5 meters per shooter left-to-right)

telephone conference will be setup for a reasonable date and time.
-Individual Instructors: Send Resume and Digital Images (Photograph or PDF) of all accompanying
certificates to “[email protected]” and we will contact you very shortly.
-Companies: Send an Email showing intent to affiliate to “[email protected]” and we will set
up a telephone conference at a reasonable date and time to discuss nature of affiliation.
Currently Sworn Law Enforcement Officers may also affiliate as Instructors pending review of training
certifications and experience.
Agencies (Military Units, Police/Sheriff’s Departments, LE Training Facilities, etc.) may contact TFTG

thereafter to discuss matters needed.
Individual Ranges looking to host courses but not seeking affiliation should send an Email to
